LAHORE: At least 12 suspects were arrested after police conducted search operations in separate areas of Lahore on Sunday.
The operations were conducted in Sher Shah Colony, Chong and R
aiwind road and nearby areas, and resident’
s identities were scrutinised.
Biometric devices were also utilised and 12 people who failed to prove their
identity were taken into c
ustody.
Sources say
that this operation was launched to maintain law and order in the provincial metropolis.
