KARACHI: Karachi police on Monday claimed to
have arrested seven illegal Afghan
immigrants in separate areas of
the city.
Police carried out raid in PIB Colony’s old vegetable market and apprehended six illegal Afghan
immigrants, i
ncluding Taj Muhammad, Sharrafuddin, Sharbat Khan, Karamuddin, Tor Khan and Jumma Khan.
FIR has been lodged against the detainees and further investigation was underway. In another raid in Sawat Chowk area, Iqbal Market police arrested one illegal Afghan
immigrant, identified as Mir Muhammad.
