KTM offers a wide array of interior design services to Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, and Educational Facility clients. Our team of on-staff licensed interior designers work closely with the client, architect, contractor, engineers and other consultants to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to the specified design. It becomes our responsibility to create interiors that are not just beautiful and unique, but that are also safe, code-compliant, functional, and that meet the needs of the end-user. By closely integrating the interior design process from inception, our project managers are able to craft seamless communication between all parties involved. Consequently, this approach prevents the typical problems that tend to arise on construction projects, saving the client time and money. In addition, the client can feel confidence in having only one team responsible for the outcome of their project.

THE PROCESS

Phase 1: Programming

Client Interview to define Project Scope including goals and parameters
Collection of pertinent data on-site including photographs, measurements, and annotations

Phase 2: Concept Development & Schematic Design

Creative idea generation and development of conceptual sketches
Analyze optimization of the space plan
Preliminary Finishes, Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) exploration
Define preliminary budget

Phase 3: Design Development & Contract Documents

Select finishes, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E) -- place orders
Finalize drawings and specifications
Coordinate with other consultants
Compile all contract documents necessary for construction and procurement

Phase 4: Project Administration & Quality Control

Verification of Construction Progress On-Site
Coordination of Furniture Delivery and Installation
Create Punch List and provide post-installation evaluation
